Dharsh & Judith met through family friends and hit it off! Dharsh is currently living in the States and so on one of his trips over here, he proposed and they swung into wedding planning – we did their gorgeous engagement shoot at Cornwall Park and organised their wedding day timing with them.
The day dawned brilliantly sunny, as most days have this summer. They had a few Sri Lankan customs integrated into their day, as well as a beautiful full Catholic ceremony at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish , led by Dharsh’s childhood friend, which was really special. Dharsh even led one of the songs during the ceremony, singing and playing the guitar.
We headed up to Bastion Point as per their request, as Dharsh wanted some scenic New Zealand photos.
We were also lucky enough to work alongside Jolyon and his team from White video.
The reception at the Stamford Plaza was amazing, with 300 guests enjoying the amazing speeches, dancing, and a surprise flash mob of Gangnam Style.
